For over 12 years in the industry, BSCC has been developing supply chain networks for various types of feedstocks including agricultural residues, dedicated energy crops (e.g. Miscanthus and Willow), forest residues, wood pellets, sugarcane residues, oilseed crops and municipal solid waste. These supply chain networks were developed for demonstration, pre-commercial and commercial scale bioenergy and biofuels plants including cellulosic ethanol, renewable diesel, biojet, electricity and heating.
BSCC works with its clients to make their supply chains Visible and Predictable. This is done by in-depth analysis of the entire supply chain to identify sources of variability and the magnitude of their impacts on the performance of the supply chain. The in-depth analysis also helps to provide recommendations for design, planning and scheduling of the supply chain. Increased visibility and predictability enable the biomass supply chain to fulfill Quantity, Quality, Delivery and Cost expectations.
